Sony rx100 app for pc for download

The only one that's useful to me is the timelapse app. I'm glad to have it, but I find it to be slow to activate and awkward to use. It's strange they didn't include this in the software of the camera like Panasonic does.

Maybe it's a way of making money after the camera is sold. At least they have some free apps. I've found it's much easier to do the downloads using the USB connection, rather than the really painful WiFi route. It's still much harder than it needs to be, but at least you do everything via the PC keyboard, rather than trying to set up passwords on the camera. I have downloaded the app, succeed in connecting to the camera but it had no features at all other than a shutter release, no focus capability, it would not even change the mode from the camera, e.

Then I read I had to upload the latest version of Play Memory on my camera to get access to all the camera functions on the iPhone app. You have to create an account with PlayStation, so I read, then tried to download the latest version but the installation got into a loop and never got anywhere, I got that far only by using IE it would not do anything with the other browsers.

So great for those who have been able to use it, but I'm not going through these hoops again. I had no problem with the Fuji app, smooth sailing. Download the playmemories app to your computer and use that to install apps to your camera. Worked fine for me, anyhow. After that, it's a lot of stuff that you or I might never use, except perhaps time lapse, but the smooth reflections is also potentially useful. Sigma Art: 35 f1. Tamron: f2.

Have you used this download app option recently as I read that Sony miht have now withdrawn their apps. I did this in janurary of this year when i got my rx. That's what I did. With the cam connected to the PC, it said that the program would download to the PC, and it would start but went into a loop of "Reload and Continue" and never got the installation done. So I gave up on the whole thing. I would have kept just for the shutter release if it at least gave me the chance to set the focus or pre-focus but it would not.

I successfully downloaded the free remote and no-touch shutter apps on to two of my cameras quite recently. The process is clunky, but works.

The real problem appears to be with chargeable apps, as the web site's billing mechanism is apparently broken. Sony hasn't withdrawn the apps from the store, but it's not added new ones, or updated the existing ones for a while. The latest cameras have lost the ability to load apps, with no news of a replacement capability. It's crazy that the cameras ship with a really basic, minimal remote app, while there's a much better one in the app store, which is free to download.

Why not just pre-install the better one? Haven't checked recently, but I just looked and all those apps are still on the playmemories app storefront. Have many of those installed on both RX cameras, so don't believe these kinds of rumors. Exposure Software's latest release, Exposure X7, offers impressive editing performance and great image quality along with a solid feature set that gives Adobe Lightroom a run for its money but without the monthly subscription.
